ingredients
12-oz. bag fresh or frozen cranberries (no need to thaw them if frozen)
½ cup white sugar
¼ cup brown sugar
1 cup water
1 tablespoon orange zest
pinch of salt
cook it!
Cook over medium heat until the cranberries start to pop and get soft and begin to look like jam.
Stir frequently to avoid burning at the bottom of the pan.
Continue to stir for about 10 minutes.
Turn the heat off and let the cranberry sauce cool to room temperature.
