white rice
1 cup white rice (rinse and drain well)
1 cup water or chicken broth
brown rice
1 cup long or short grain brown rice (rinse and drain well)
1 cup water or beef broth
wild rice
1 cup wild rice or wild rice blend (rinse and drain well)
1 ½ cups water or beef broth
Pinch of salt
1 teaspoon olive oil

Rinse rice under cold running water in a fine mesh strainer until the water runs clear. Be sure to drain really well.
Add rice, water or broth, and ingredients in the Instant Pot Pressure Cooker.
Close the lid, turn the venting knob to the sealing position.
Pressure cook at high pressure for using the following times for each type of rice.
white rice – high pressure for 3 minutes, then natural release for 10 minutes
brown rice – high pressure for 15 minutes, then natural release for 5 minutes
wild rice – high pressure for 15 minutes, then natural release 10 minutes
Turn the venting knob to the venting position to release the remaining pressure.
Open the lid quickly.
Fluff rice with a fork, then serve warm.
