2 tablespoons butter
½ cup uncooked orzo pasta
½ cup long-grain white rice
2 cups chicken broth
1 teaspoon salt

In a large saucepan or electric skillet, melt butter over low to medium heat.
Add orzo and brown until golden.
Add the rice, chicken broth, and salt.
Heat until it simmers.
Cover and lower heat to low/medium so it remains simmering.
Simmer for about 20 to 25 minutes or until all the broth is absorbed.
