ingredients
2 racks of baby back ribs, spareribs, or St.Louis-style ribs
CC’s Dry Rub for pork ribs
1 cup CC’s Simple BBQ Sauce or sauce of your choice
bake it!
Preheat the oven to 275° F.
Line a baking sheet or roasting pan with aluminum foil.
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs by sliding your fingers or a dull knife around the side to loosen it up and peel it off. Use a paper towel to provide a better grip because it’s slippery.
In a small bowl, stir together the ingredients for the dry rub. Rub this mixture generously on all sides of the ribs to coat.
Place seasoned ribs in a single layer, meat side up, in a prepared roasting pan.
Cover pan with aluminum foil.
Bake in the preheated oven for 3 1/2 to 4 hours until ribs are tender.
Remove ribs from the oven and remove aluminum foil. Brush barbecue sauce onto ribs.
You have two choices—either place the baking sheet or roasting pan back into the oven underneath the broil setting and broil for 3-5 minutes or transfer to an outdoor grill for 3-5 minutes to caramelize the sauce on the ribs.
